Transferring Files From Mac To PC Via Internet - How?

Greetings Geeks.

I have about 2 gigs of music on my desktop at home. I want to transfer them to a Mac at work. Is there a way to transfer them easily via the internet? A frees storage site, for example. I don't want to clear my scant 512 meg thumb drive for the task, which would take a few trips anyway.

I did a search for online storage, but I know nothing about them. So, any advice?

You may find that transferring the files directly is just as easy using Logmein or Teamviewer for example.

 

For gigs of music! Ack! I want a one shot deal. If I set something up like sartow suggested I could keep that in place for future use.

 

File Transfer mode comes with the free version of TeamViewer; yes, they all need installing and configuring on both - it can be worthwhile doing though. I've been using TV on 2 of my PC's for something over a year now, when I want to access my remote PC, it just happens.

Remote bug/Malware fixing might take 8-12 hours but that beats physically travelling across 5 or more time zones in person
