I have an external hdd that is failing and I am trying to move a Bluray movie from it.

I know the file is good - the movie plays all the way through.

The transfer process stops at 32% and won't go further.

Any way i can copy this file to a good hdd?

    Thanks,

    Paul

Judging solely by the name and reputation, this should be worth a try.

    Thanks Satrow,

I downloaded the program and it went a little further than before, but still stopped at about 34%.

I was going to buy another copy, and was doing a search and found that I had already backed up the movie to a good hdd.:-D:-D

Nevertheless, I thank you for the info.;)

    Satrow,

An update - I thought the backup was on a good hdd, but was acctually on the bad external hdd.

I opened the program you suggested and this time clicked copy Stream
instead of Bd file and it worked!

Now, can you suggest a program to shrink it ?

    Thanks again,

    Paul

Outside of my experience, I'm afraid, perhaps someone else will chime in.

What format/file type is it now?
