Gm to many and I got a question. I remember I called Sears number for this issue but they just said its not them to call Nodic Track So I went and called the number on there site.. They never gave me options for issues with the product.. it was mostly buying product and the only option I had was mess around till I got ahold of a person that works there.. Finally I did and they said well to have one of there people... It will cost this and that hundreds of dollars for them to just come.. then also any parts/labor/shipping thats on me. SO I said whatever and hung up. Anyways my problem is.. I am sure its a problem anyways.. I got this treadmill http://www.nordictrack.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product2_12401_10301_79060_-1_19051 T7 si orange screen and etc..Anyways the more you use it the more the what I believe is the belt is rubbing off. I thought it was just because it was a new machine and it needs to rub the edge off for wear and tear. I know theres few bars under the treadmill that hold the belt and slide it left or right.. and its like a "guider to guide the belt and keep it on track and the way its made is its rubbing against the belt sides.. so I figure that was the issue.. So I moved the belt as centered as I could again and tighten it and now still more issues.. But now it seem to be worst since GF using it daily now. Heres a picture of a bottom part http://merch-images.s3.amazonaws.com/brand-logos/Merit-Fitness/715t/Picture 8.png now see the left side of picture its the engine part, and on top is symbol of the treadmill well on top of that is full of black fuzzies/small particals.. like its from a rubbed belt. Now on that same last picture theres a 16 at the bottom going across the end..well on part on the flooring of our apartment where 16 is.. is black area and particals that are on the engine.. like its the belt rubbed off. Anyways I know theres a thing to tighten and lossen and Ive tried both but neither seem to work. And it also says to make sure 1 inch of space between belt and side and there is.. but I have no idea.. what is wrong. And few years ago when I bought the machine I posted all over forums of nordic track forums and they no one came to answer my question. And few forums got pissed that I bumped it once lol after a month.. SO I left. So my question is what do you guys think it is belt rubbing? Any suggestion maybe you guys have one?

Probably :-D I've seen the inside of them I know how they work, can't you see where the rubber has worn away on the belt?

What you could try stand it on a few bricks so you can see underneath it then asked your GF to walk on it see if you can see where its rubbing.

Post a photo of the internal mechanism.

Well I did some more looking at the treadmill and I finally found a measuring tool. And I have no cord to load pictures onto the computer. But I did post on another forum a picture but I dont know. Theres two things I read about a treadmill and that is"slipping of a belt" and a belt being uncentered. Now my question is what is this "slipping"?
1st slipping way of using this word - like my belt on my car engine fell off and is now flipping around the motor until I put the belt back on(and on tight)..like totally slipping off? or
2cd way of slipping being used - the belt is sliding to the side of the roll bars and is just un even?

The thing I read was for uncentered belt do (this procedure) to straighten it up.

The other thing I read was if the belt is slipping then (do this procedure which is different).

Now I measured my belt on the treadmill areas.. to see the distance on things and pretty much from my measurements the treadmill is like this...
I I and the belt on it is going this way / / from top right
I I motor roll bar down to the back(bottom) of the running roll
I I Bar. Now The thing is how am I suppose to adjust the top
I I roll bar by the motor when the adjustment screws are at the
I I bottom? Now the 1st adjustment if off center says to do the
I I procedure in number 1 but in the 2cd procedure it says if its
"slipping" to do the second procedure .. and I assume its not off centered but slipping? Because its at the motor top part of the treadmill...
