trial period expired, how can i reinstall? never used software

hey gang, i installed a trial version of sagetv a couple weeks go on my computer, then went on vacation and never really tried it out so see if i liked it enough to purchase, so i get home this weekend and want to try it out tonight and its all over now, i tried deleteing uninstalling and then re installing but it still knows lol, how can i re install the trial period? is there somethign in the registry i can delete or something? please give me a hand guys

Alas, you shouldn't have actually installed it until you were ready to try it out.

I don't think there is any LEGAL way to do that.

 

Legal way??? See if a newer or beta version is out. Set system clock back? really depends on how it installed maybe registry, install log, both?? Sorry I am not that familar with that piece of software. Could try calling the company and telling them see what they say I don't think they would call the software cops on you for that.

 

so im screwed? theres got to be away somehow, if its a touchy subject somone can send a pm or email

i thaught it needed it that weekend i installed it, but the program i wanted was not on, so it would have been worth it to install then had i checked tv guide

 

i tried setting the clock in the lower corner back, but it caught on to that lol
