Trillian / Adobe Flash Player 9

Hi Guys. My GF and I have always used AIM to IM each other. She recently switched to trillian, with me staying with AIM. The first time she IMed me using trillian, I got a pop-up asking if I want to install/run Adobe Flash Player 9. I said no. Then during out IM our buddy icons weren't working right. My icons which are donkeys appeared on her screen as regular smileys. Her icons which are normally bears appeared on my screen as IM shorthand symbols. So the next time we IMed I allowed Adobe FP9 to install and run, but the buddy icons still didn't work right, so I uninstalled Adobe FP9 from add/remove. Now every time we IM the Adobe pop-up comes on and I have to deny it three times before it goes away. I don't give a hoot about the buddy icons; I just want to know why Adobe keeps bothering me and how can I make it stop? Thanks for now and previous help too!

 

I use trillian and had Adobe Flash Player 9 before I used trillian so I would not know if that would be a problem, but I think you would have to unstall it if you are using trillian. My friends that use AIM, Yahoo, and MSN have not told me of any problems when I im them.
