trojan dialer 11.ah

A friend of mine says that AVG has detected "trojan horse dialer 11.ah" on his machine. AVG won't get rid of it but continues to detect it. -I've yet to find out if he can kill it via 'ADD/REMOVE SOFTWARE'.
I was wondering if anyone has seen this specific trojan or knows of any removal instructions?
He's running XP Home (most likely SP1, but not sure).
I'm always surprised when friends get infected, but what can you do? (to answer that: hit them every 12 hours or so 'till they learn to update their AV).

There are some steps in the Read Me First tutorial that can help if you guys are unable to remove the trojan by other means.

The online scans (Trend, Symantec) would probably deal with it. You might also try a-squared (a²) Free edition 1.2
