Trojan horse still alive

    I have Grisoft AVG virus protection - free version. It is telling me that I have trojan horse IRC/BackDoor.SDBot.29.N and suggesting running AVG. I do, but the horse lives on. Any ideas how to get rid of it? Candace

    If you are running Windows XP turn off SYSTEM RESTORE before you run your anti virus. With it on it may detect it but will be unable to eliminate it.
