trojan plauge

Is it just the time of year or is there an upsurge in trojans.
3 times in the last 10 days i have had to remove trojan vundo or trojan bho and this morning i find i have another vundo.
I am not one for going to naughty sites or surfing warez so it's just a bit annoying.http://www.clipartof.com/images/emoticons/xsmall2/2058_un-happy.gif

 

A lot of new nasties about coming up to xmas Bill.
Just in time to infect all those shiney new PC's bought this time of year.
All the malware forums are getting flooded with requests for help

 

I have most definitely been hit by those nasties recently. Once it was a booby trapped google image. Another time it was a google blog. I was just searching the blogs for the city of Emmett. So at 10 pm I had to run all my protection programs which isn't much since I have vista. I have safe search on google but still got a picture of a nude man when searching a name and looking at the pictures. It takes all the fun out of random surfing when antivirus2008 pops up and starts their scare tactic.

Particularly nasty when you've just had to dump your anti-virus program because of it acting stupid and crashing your computer.
