Hi guys,
I've searched on the internet a way to get rid of this darn virus (it's annoying, I know, especially if you have AVG). Can't get rid of it! Can I post my Hijack This file log on the forums please? I need a quick and resourceful way of getting through this. Also I've read about booting into safe mode and stuff. Is there any other way? I've gotten rid of all the cr*p (censored by me) from the Add/Remove list and looked through my own HJT log, and gone through Windows Explorer to manually delete the files, but I need professionals. I ran AVG, Mcaffee, Adaware, and Spybot Search and Destroy, several times (amongst all of them, not each: AVG:3-4 times, Mcafee: 1 time, Adaware:3 times, Spybot: Going to right now!). Anyway, AVG always pops up with the stupid "found trojan" message. IT's IN MY SYSTEM RESTORE!!!! This I know because it's under C:\System_Volume..... something like that. I turned off system restore, scanned, rebooted, scanned, and turned SR back on.Still there. Sometimes it tries to run from my recycle bin, so I deleted it for good. Stopped after that. Also, it sometimes reappears by itself. What do I do? Can I post my HJT log? THANKS!!! :rolleyes
