I just recently installed AVG virus software, the freebie, and being new at everything I was hoping someone here might be able to help with a problem avg found but cannot cure.
When I first ran the scan it killed 2 bugs and found 2 trojan files in my winzip files; it cannot do anything to. Is there any way to get rid of them or should I just let sleeping dogs lie sleeping? Can they do any damage in there ?
I plead guilty of not knowing alot (much) of tech stuff, so I hope you masters of the Geeksworld can help me out of my predicament. Much appreciated , BTW where is the button to edit your profile here,I'm not only blind I'm getting dummer too,I guess.

The Trojans shouldn't cause any harm in the zip files, as they will have to be unzipped to actually cause harm. If AVG gave you the winzip file names that were infected, you could just right click on them and delete them. Sorry that I can't help with the profile editing, but I've never tried to change mine. Welcome to MajorGeeks! :)

They can't get out unless you unzip them. If you aren't using them, delete them.
