trouble building a computer

i am using a ASUS A7V333 Motherboard and a Creative GeForce 3 Ti200 AGP graphics card with a Enermax EG365AX-VE 350W Power Supply ,everything im sure is wired up and plugged in correctly ,yet absolutly nothing comes up on the moniter i have tried resetting cmos ,the fan on the graphics card is working ,i heared in another forum it should work straight away ,enough for me to install windows and all the drivers ,i hope i dont have to install drivers first cause this would be impossible if the moniter isnt showing anything ,i know the moniter works and the cpu is set properly ,and the card is propely in and screwed
