Trouble getting started

    :confused: Hi need some help please. Got a Pentium 111 had probs with it : would not start up just bleeping. I was told to replace the memory which i did hey presto it fired up first time,i decided to get rid of programs i no longer used,then the probs started now it comes up with first screen says Floppy disk fails 40 press f1 to continue i do and then another screen comes up saying verifing DMI pool data-update success. I read a similiar message and tried all the things that was said : take off cables,change bios nothing is working please help getting desperate.

    Sounds like you have some BIOS settings issues or maybe bad floppy drive or it's not connected properly or maybe not connected at all. Hard to tell with such limited info.... Windows version? Maybe more details on what happens, step by step, from when you first turn on the PC.... Does windows come up at all???
