Trouble w/3dMark05

Hey everyone,
I just spent waaay too much time downloading 3dMark 05, and now it will not launch...any suggestions?

I do have DX2.0c and Pixel Shader 2.0.

WAY to much time, as in dial-up, or broadband internet connection?

 

DSL that is "rated" for 1MB/s download, but this program took almost 1-1/2 hrs for approx 280KB file..

 

280 KB file took you 1.5 hours?

There are: 7 mirrors and one bittorrent mirror. See if this helps. Other programs download fast?

 

Haha, my bad...280MB.

I hate my dsl, but that would take the cake.

 

Did you try any of the above mirrors? Perhaps a mirror was overloaded?

I typically, will try one, then two...three mirrors at the same time, cancelling the slow ones...

 

By this, do you mean the list of different sites that offer the download? If so, no, I just went with the MG download.

At any rate, I now have the program downloaded, but it will not open

 

I downloaded the program again today, and it now works And my huge whopping first score is...
