Trouble with certain downloads

Good morning Geeks, I'm running XP Home SP3.
Occasionally, usually with Megaupload, a download will hang part way through. MU normally does not work with pause and restart which sometimes works elsewhere. I've made sure caches are empty, temp folders are empty, I've used both Firefox and IE, so I'm pretty sure its a server issue. MU also does not allow download managers. The file is not available on other sites that I've been able to discover, and if its 1 of 15, then I have nothing.

Is there anyway to get past this type of error?

 

I guess MU accept DL Managers, i used few days ago to download files from MU using "jDownloder" without problem, did you tried it?
