I have downloaded and installed Startup Inspector for Windows twice now, and when I go to start the program, the following error message comes up... "This application has failed to start because borlndmm.dll was not found." Then it tells me to try reinstalling it. I have reinstalled it several times and the error keeps coming up.

I'm running Windows XP Home. Thanks for any help.

I'm having exactly the same problem as kevinallen had. I downloaded and extracted the runtime files as recommended by star17, but I don't know how to comply with the instructions for installation as listed below:

    To install the runtimes files.

    Cp3240mt.dll
    Borlndmm.dll

Either extract them along your path ie ( into "c:\windows\system"
    directory )
or extract them in the same directory as the program.

Right now the runtime files are in the "My Downloads" folder; what do I do next? Thanks in advance for helping, Ed.

Please disregard my previous post; I now have my runtime files recognized by the Startup Inspector program....... Ed.
