troubles getting a new wu

is anyone else having this problem? my program has over 56 attempts for a new WU..

I have had the problem in the past, but not right now. Each time it would happen, I would have to restart the machine and it would grab a WU right away.

 

That usually happens to me when I Don't Allow to access the internet.

I shut the FAH client down by pressing and holding ctrl key then I key in C which shuts down the "console" version properly.

Thereafter I restart the FAH client with the option -configonly no other options added and choose to Allow internet access.

The client will shut itself down once completed,just add whatever option(s) in your console version you choose to.

In Linux I use -advmethods -forceasm -verbosity 9

In winDOwS I would use -forceasm -verbosity 9,but have noticed a better production output using Linux so I do not use a winDOwS operating system anymore unless someone else allows me to use their computer.

This has allowed me to connect and send/recieve WU without problems unless the stanford server was having problems.

 

still no luck.. might uninstall and re-install it..

 

MEW2, are you using internet explorer and if so have you changed settings to use a proxy server??? check your settings and if they look ok try just rebooting.

 

still having problems with my new computer. but my old one chugs along... i have a WU #2008 running now.. one of the newest WU's
