For the past couple of days I have been dealing with a BSOD stop issue, Currently I am unable stop the system from restarting on an error so the system is caught in a loop. The loop occurs in Safe Mode as well as Normal Mode. I am only able to get pieces of error information. The one test I was able to run once was a memory error scan which came back with zero errors.

    Error: IRQL_NOT_Less_Than_Equal

    Stop Error: 0x00000001e

    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.256.1

    BCCode: 1e
    BC1: 0000000000
    BC2: 0000000000
    BC3: 0000000000
    BC4: 0000000000

I have not made any hardware changes however, here are the two software changes. In my research it appears that these software changes may be a source of my problem.

    1) I uninstalled ISObuster
    2) Added a significant number of MP3 to my iTunes

I am not sure what my next step would be. I am unable to boot the system in any mode. I am not sure if any of the tools on UBCD would help me in my current situation so I could continue to gather data. Is there a tools boot CD & boot USB image that could be used in this situation.

Have you tried booting from the Win7 DVD to see if it gives you any options such as system restore?

If you PC didn't come with a Win7 disc you can get the troubleshooting boot disc free as a torrent from this link.

I have downloaded the Win 7 repair disc and run it without success.

It stops during the process of restoring files.
It halts when dealing with Evernote 3.5. I have tries multiple restore points with the same result.

    Thank you.

    Mobo: MSI K9N6P6M2 – V2
    Processor: AMD 2.3 Ghz Athon 64 x2 4400+
    HDD: WD WD250AAJS

    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

    Also, just a quick update.

I ran Memtest v 3.8 and came up with 8000+ errors.
I am leaning towards that this is my failure.

    Thoughts?

    Thank you to the forum.

Bad RAM could definitely be the problem. If you have more than one module you could try one at a time and see if it boots. Or run memtest on one at a time to determine the bad module.

I've had virtually no problems with Win7 so I can't give much advice on the recovery disc but if you get the RAM sorted out you may have more luck with the system restore.

I changed the RAM and was still experiencing the same problems.

So, I dug out my power supply tester and it appears that my PSU may have been the cause the whole time. I do not getting any -5 v to the MoBo. Thankfully, I do believe that I have a spar PSU to put in.

I will continue to troubleshoot and report my findings.

Thanks to the forum for the help.
