troubling saving images

I succesfully formatted and the problem persists..

(By the way, I had typed a larger post, but as soon as I hit 'submit' my browser crashed....)

Also, one thing I forgot to add in the original thread, only ANIMATED gifs are save-able vir right click > save as...

 

What is your Windows and IE versions including the servicepacks?
Also if you're using IE, what happens when you try a different browser like Firefox?

 

Problem Solved.....?

I have come to the conclusion that it is not a problem with my computer or Windows, but rather AOL. Thanks to Turcoloco, I decided to try saving images with another browser (IE6) and it worked like a charm, as it should! However when saving with AOL (the browser I use because AOL is my ISP) it doesn't work. So problem solved. Or semi-solved. Or at least I now KNOW what the problem is.

I dunno why I never suspected AOL in the first place. Damn thing's always giving me problems...

I have not used AOL since version 4.0 and thank god for that!
But the info on this link could hopefully provide some help.
