Tim Gavlin, the owner of Gavlin Advertising Agency, has gotten requests from several staff
members to allow them to occasionally work from home. Additionally, he would like to hire a new
copy writer who has a severe physical disability and can only work from home. The major
computer applications used at the agency are word processing, project time and billing,
spreadsheets, photograph editing, and graphics for drawing. Some of the graphics files can be as
large as several hundred megabytes. Tim has hired you as a consultant to advise him on how he can
implement remote access. He wants to know what alternatives are available for doing remote
access and what are the advantages and disadvantages of each approach. He also wants to know
how security can be maintained. What will you tell him?

There is nothing wrong with asking for help. If you don't know, or don't have a nice answer, please don't post. I ask for homework help all the time in the Lounge. I don't expect someone to give me a rude response, and neither should anyone else when requesting assistance.

razy8, you might want to keep your issue confined to one thread, and ask specific questions.

Also note that we cannot do your homework for you, but may be able to give you information so that you can do it yourself.

 

Thank you for that comment. I am new to this forum, I will keep all my questions in one thread from now on. Do any one know anything about cetrix server? How do I configure a remote access to citrix server? If I remote access the server, do the process occure at my computer or at the server? THanks for your help in advance.

 

I was trying to be a little on the sarcastic side, due to there are instructors out there that tend to check on where the info comes from.
