Trying to burn a an audio disk.

The burn goes well, but will only play on the PC.
(Vista Home Premium)
Want to give copies to friends as gifts.
Songs were pulled from YouTube, so copywrite should not be a problem.
What format SHOULD the burn be in to play on a car or home system?

 

What program are you using?
Are you selecting "Audio Disk"? It will usually say create a disk for playing in CD players, on most programs.
Creating a data disk will not work, unless the player has mp3 capability.
Are you 'closing' the disks? aka finalizing.

 

Try using Windows Media Player, or try one of the many software tools on this site at http://majorgeeks.com/downloads43.html With Vista, you have to make sure that you choose "Mastered Format". Live File System Format is mainly used for USB flash drives, and is only compatible with Vista, 7, 8.
