Trying to get messages that where sent out from a myspace account?

Hi, my friend came to me and he's trying to see what his kid is talking about on myspace. He's just worried about some stuff that's happening in school. He doesn't have a program that records e-mails and chats, but he wants to try to see e-mails that were sent out from myspace. The e-mails are probably already deleted from the myspace sent box, but would they still be somewhere on the computer? Let me know thanks...
