Trying to have fun with photos

    This is my first post and I am a bit confusssed where and how to post. But I do want to say I love the site. Now to my question, I was wondering if anyone knows of a free editing program that can do fun things. I would like to add backgrounds, items, etc. I mean that I would like to take a picture of someone or something and cut and crop and put it in another picture. I not sure if I am expaining this correctly. What I want to do is have fun. Are there any free programs or a cheap one to buy. TIA

    You could try these free options

    PhotoPlus6
    Picasa ( allows you to do some collages etc )
    Paint.Net ( only if using XP or W2k as your windows version)

    they should allow you to edit and create the sort of images you want :)]
