trying to install xp

    im trying to install my copy of xp on my pc but after i reformatted the hd when it reboots it jit starts to load files then i get error loading operating system.

    it seems like i have no partition 1

    Maybe you need SATA or RAID drivers to recognize the hard drive?
    Is it a SATA drive? What make/model of PC?

    i fixed the issue,but now my issue is i have 2 hard drives in this ,,c and d my new hd is d drive but my operating system is on c drive how do i get my operating system on the good drive ?
