I just tried to install this: ZoneAlarm Free 5.5.062.004 and when it was done downloading and I went to install it I got a not a win32 application or something to that effect. Any clues as to why I would get this? It says it's a win all application.

Sounds as if your download could have been bad or incomplete. Try downloading the file again and installing it. If it still doesn't work, I would suggest downloading Sygate from MajorGeeks, and installing it. It does the same basic function as ZoneAlarm without the cartoonish interface, and works better in my opinion. I have worked on several computers with WinXPSP2 that ZoneAlarm misbehaved on, and wouldn't load at startup and hang the computer. I have only ran across one, an early model HP Pavillion, that Sygate didn't work on and caused problems with Dr. Watson. ZoneAlarm worked great on this particular PC though. Only my thoughts and hope that they help! Have a Happy New Year! :)
