Using AbsoluteUninstaller, I see that Python 2.5 is listed.
When I click on either Remove or Change, I get the message saying that the action is only valid for programs that are installed.
If not installed, then why the heck does it even show up in the listing?
    Windows Vista Home Premium.(64 bit)
    HP Pavilion a6512p

Could be remnants leftover in the registry. Do you have program files, or common files for python?

The program list entry can be found here:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Followed your provided link all the way.
    Python not in the list.
Anything else it might be listed as?

Sorry, I should have explained that it will not appear as "python", instead, it will have a UID. You can tell it's python by the values inside the key. It may take some guess and check. If it is in your program listing, it definitely is here.

Looked high and low.Couldn't find anything for it.
Puzzles me, but it ain't eating nothing, so I guess it can stay for a while(as if I had a choice).
