    Hi All

I have just built a new system and I am having a bit of trouble with my RAM speeds, I am not sure that they are running at the correct speed

I used Everest and in the "Computer > overclock" drop down menu the following info about the RAM

    Field Value
    DIMM1 1 GB DDR2-667 DDR2 SDRAM (5.0-5-5-15 @ 333 MHz) (4.0-4-4-12 @ 266 MHz) (3.0-3-3-9 @ 200 MHz)
    Field Value
    DIMM2 1 GB DDR2-667 DDR2 SDRAM (5.0-5-5-15 @ 333 MHz) (4.0-4-4-12 @ 266 MHz) (3.0-3-3-9 @ 200 MHz)

I am ok with the first but but what do the numbers in brackets mean ?

    Everest help file doesnt explain

    Cheers

In Everest go to Motherboard>Motherboard look to section Memory Bus Properties, Real Clock & Effective Clock. The real clock will show your ram speed. Since your ram is DDR Effective clock will be Real clock x2.

Alternatively, find a prog called ClockGen which will show this info also together with your cpu clock speed as well as PCI, HTT, AGP, etc

    Good Luck
