More info needed. What's your OS? What make and model computer? Is your current hard drive (HD) an IDE drive or SATA drive?

Do you want to reinstall your OS and all your programs or were you hoping to clone your old HD to the new one? Do you have your important files backed up to an external medium?

80MB not 80GB? I ask because if the computer only has an 80MB hd it is pretty old and might not recognize a 2TB drive because of the limits in the BIOS.

Oh, I missed the 80m. LOL I was thinking 80GB. Still, if the original HD was 80GB, it's most likely an IDE drive, not SATA. And, any new 2TB drive is going to be SATA. So, we need more info.

You still haven't told us the make and model of your computer. The you provided goes to a web page where make and model or service tag is needed to proceed and find the manual.
