    I am trying to upgrade from Windows 2000 to Windows XP Pro. I received the following warning message:

    CD Recording Software
    =====================

    A CD-recording driver is installed that might cause stability problems, including problems shutting down and problems using a CD/DVD drive. This driver will be disabled.

    This driver might have been installed by Easy CD Creator , Windows Media Player or RealJukebox . You might not be able to record CDs until you obtain compatible drivers.

    I pretty much just ignored it. As I started the upgrade, it copied the setup files, then rebooted. After rebooting, the windows xp screens comes and just sits there. this is NOt the installation screen which is supposed to come up after this screen. I waited for about 30 minutes, but still nothing. I then went back and uninstalled the Easy CD Creator software, but that did not fix the problem.....any suggestions?

    thanks
