Trying to Zip to many files??

I'm trying to zip a bunch of files on my sys here at work. I want to get the files under 5mb, but winzip will only bring it down to 6.4mb. When I try to break it up into 2 smaller files I cant zip them up because the version of winzip I have keeps telling me that I have selected more files than it can handel at one time. I dont want to have to try to track down each group of files because there are about 3,200 files I want to zip. Is there an easier way to zip these. I have them split up into two smaller groups, but winzip still cant handel it. any sugestions?

Hmmmm..... Maybe another packprogram will pack that many files.
WinRAR for instance.
I'm not saying it will, but maybe.

Found a program that will do it. its called WinCommander.

 

I've been using that program for ages!
It rules!
BTW: It's called Total Commander now.

 

I think a program called 7 zip does the best compression...

but I have only heard that from varios places and NEVER tried it... I prefer to work with winRar... does everthing I need...
