    Hello,
I have an ethernet card installed. However, the software to the ethernet (Turbolinux 10/100 LAN Card) is a floppy and my floppy drive is broken. I have a CD ROM that works fine. Is there a way to use the ethernet card without the floppy disk I already have. Also, is NetZero a worthwhile means to have internet? Thanks so much.

You can probably pick-up a used floppy drive from a computer shop for $5.00. Not quite a dime-a-dozen, but close.

Thanks, I may try that. I bet a pawn sho has some. Is a pawn shop a ok place to geta monitor? We do not need the best of the best like a lot of people.

Well, if they can plug it in & prove it works before you buy it, maybe. Prices are very good at used computer shops, and most will offer some sort of warranty for what they sell. For my money, they are better bets than pawn shops.

I can't answer your question about NetZero, since I have no experience with them...other than they make annoying commercials.
