    Hi Guys,

I got a virus this morning and moved it to chest and then I restarted it, when it began to boot, it froze for about a minute at the boot screen then proceeded to load after this, so I shut it down and turned it back on and had to wait about a minute on the boot screen to get past it, it so I went into the bios and clicked the reset to optimized defaults incase it had a problem, so I saved it and exited.

The computer then booted it as it would do when i turn it on but now the screen stays black?

Anyone have any suggestions what to do? as its just black and I can't see anything to get into the bios or such?

    Thanks in advance

Try unplugging the PC and removing the CMOS battery from the motherboard for 30-45 minutes. This will clear the BIOS settings.

    Hope this helps.
