I need to know how to disbale ActiveSync programmatically on the PDA side so that the device doesn't attempt to sync when it is cradle or a cable is attached.

I can manually disable ActiveSync through the options button in ActiveSync on the PDA, but I need to do it from within a program running on the PDA.

I need to turn it on and off at certain points in the program. Turning it on when I need to sync and turning it off all of the rest of the time.

The reason this is an issue is that the program we have developed needs to be able to print through a cable attached to the same port that it uses when cradled. When ActiveSync is enabled, it immediately trys to sync to the PC which it is not actually attached to. This cause some strange things to occur during printing.

The program is written is VB.net for Compact Framework.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
