Hi, Before I install Windows 7 I have to turn off AVG. Can I do this or must I uninstall it?
    Thanks

Are you upgrading to Win 7 clean install? Or a dual boot?
In the first instance you will lose all data and apps including AVG. If you are dual booting, again no problem as far as AVG is concerned. Can you give more info as to what you want to do exactly
    Cheers

The question still remains, is there a way to turn off AVG? I've had need of this also and the only way I could figure out was through the task manager.
