My friend has a Dell XPS M170 which has lights on the outside. Is there a way to turn them off to save battery life?

    Thanks

I don't think you can. LED lights don't take much power but it depends.

Found out how to do it.....

Go to the dell quick set and click on the system tab. Go to Gaming Options and it should give you a menu where you can change the colors of the lights. At the top right there is a check box option to turn off the lights on the top of the case. Near the middle right there is another check box with an option that says "Turn all LEDs OFF." Both of these options should turn off all of the extra lights.

    Thanks
