Anyone know how to when you have you CD TUX in your PC it boots uo you go anywhere, but I go to watch movies & can not view them because do not have the right stuff to do this? Can I download onto the CD or is there a way I can configure my CD to be able to watch movies online.

You are going to have to be more specific than Tux CD.
Since there are a few hundred linux live CDs, we have no idea exactly what live distro you are booting.

A CD can't be written to. So once we know the distro, we might be able to find another that includes more codecs.
Linux Mint is supposed to be good

I haven't looked at this since v2 something (all names start with the letter B in version 2). They are now up to Gloria v7 and Helena will be released in Nov. (v8). Elyssa (v5) has LTS, which means long term support. Since you are running it live, LTS would not be an issue for you.

I'd say grab v7 and burn the ISO or wait a few days for v8.

it may be the flash player, you can update this on a live cd but the update will only last until you take the cd out as they are read only,

as plodr says, you will need to say which distro version you are using so more advice can be offered
