    Hi All,

I'm trying to watch a movie that I have on my computer, on my TV. I have connected the tv to the computer with an s video cable, and audio cables.

After a lot of playing around, I've managed to get the picture that's on my desktop displayed on my tv, but that is all, the movie only plays on my computer. I'm assuming there's something in my display settings that I need to tweak, but I can't figure out what.

I think I need to select tv-out, but I cannot find anywhere in control panel to do that. I'm on Windows XP, and my graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX. Should I have a tab for the graphics card in advanced display settings, bacuse all I have is General, adapter, monitor, troubleshoot, and color management?

    Any help would be appreciated.

All you did was extend your desktop onto the TV. Which by default means your mouse can run off the right side of the screen and go onto the TV. So if you want the movie to play on the TV all you do is drag the window which has the movie to the right.
