tv out problem

i have a NVIDIA Geforce4 MX4000 128mb video card and it has tv out but when i'm playing video i can't see the video on the tv, all i can see is the media player

on my first pc monitor i couldn't see the video but when i replaced it with a new monitor when it got broken the first time i used the new monitor i could see the video but the next time i used it again i couldn't see it anymore

can anyone help me?can't make the video out works,thanks!

specs:
1.7 ghz celeron
512mb RAM
windows xp pro sp2

if any one has this problem just:

right click the desktop choose properties
click "settings" tab
click "advance" button
click [name of graphics card] tab
click the "full screen video" choice on the left
select the "full screen device" either primary or secondary(when youre display mode is "clone")
