    More info please
    Operating system
    Video capture Card
    Graphics Card
    Sound Card

    If you know how, update drivers for all the cards mentioned above

    I think its possibly to do with CPU and/or RAM
    Ive had quality problems capturing in the past, havent even tried for a while
    hopefully someone who knows will help you out (and me);)

    If you provide the details listed at the top of this post, it will be easier

    Computer speed and processor type are particularly important, but so is the operating system. On a related subject a 366Mhz K6/2 simply can not play a DVD without jerkiness, while a 400Mhz K6/2 can. There are minimum specs involved here, since the video card has to use the computers CPU somewhat.

    ive updated all the drivers off the official sites,
    they are the right versions 100% checked

    System
    ===========================
    Windows XP SP2
    Intel Pentium 4 {2.8GHz}
    512 RAM

    Graphics Card
    ===========================
    ASUS ATI RADEON - EAX1300PRO
    256MB DDR2

    TV Card
    ===========================
    Hybrid Tera-Vision Receiver (IVOGUE)

    on average there is a 10% CPU usage

    and 250MB RAM usage

    any help at all will be greatly welcomed

    Ok
    Ive just tried mine for the first time since upgrading my system last month

    P4 2.8GHZ 400MHZ
    768MB PC800 RDRAM
    Gigabyte 7600GS 256MB Graphics Card
    Winfast TV2000XP Expert TV Tuner Card

    And it worked great on
    MPEG-2 Optimal Quality (Its default setting)

    Your tv cards software should have capture settings somewhere
    your best bet it to try to reduce the quality

    As you can see from my computers stats
    its fairly similar to yours
    Sorry I cant be much help :(
