TWAIN Driver fail to open

am using an NRG mp2000 printer
am able to print but not scan
when i command to scan a message pops up" opening of TWAIN Driver failed to open"

help?

 

Yes, you need to install the driver of the printer /scanner.

Did you checked in device manager if some device appears with a yellow advice (!) near to it?

 

it is a combo machine that am using and the Drivers are installed.

 

Well, what operative system are using you? It worked before or is a new problem due a Operative system change?

 

am running on windows XP.
and i used to scan before not until recently.

 

Well i suggest to you uninstall the drivers or software of the scanner and printer, after that run Ccleaner to clean the registry and temps, and install again the drivers.

Did you recently installed some Service Pack?

 

thanks for the help, i run a diagnosis and figure out the driver needed an update of the scanner address. the network address lease is set on automatic so every refresh assigns different address. thanks
