   what are those extra drive letters in my computer-> drives...i have a few hard drives (3) but not letters h--->z...and theyre all checked, can or should i uncheck them?

   yes you can uncheck them, but one thing to remember is if you have USB hardware eg. camera, usb stick etc .... they can use windows mass driver which needs a drive letter to work so I would leave 1 or 2 of the letters ticked just in case, otherwise you will find out that these devices would work.
