Tweaking.Com's Windows Repair works great for my computer; thanks for the recommendation.

I run the program every month or two as my computer slows down noticeably when it starts up and sometimes even when it is running normal programs. Is there any way to 'preserve' this configuration of my computer after I run it and to prevent any changes from occurring?

 

If you don't make any changes (install programs, etc.) then either the installed programs (usually after updates) or malware are causing the slowdown.
