tweaking Mozilla Firefox

maybe im posting this in the right section/maybe not.
but anyways I found a link to a site that explains how
to speed up Mozilla by the config. settings.
I am on DSL,will someone look at this link and see if its
gonna benifit me or not?

I've known other people to use this method and it really boosted performance.Also I downloaded Firetune out of curiosity and it really sped things up for me.

 

There's a Firefox extension that automates such pipeline settings. "Tweak network settings" is the title of it. You can easily switch back and forth between stock and "power" settings.
