Twitter Issue

Hi guys,
Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask

I've used Twitter for 5/6 years but just recently something has changed that I can't seem to work around and I'm hoping someone can help me with.

If I reply to a tweet and someone subsequently replies and includes me I get a popup in "Notifications". If I was to click on this it used to take me to the thread and show what it is this person has responded to. But now it doesn't, it just shows their reply. The problem being I might actively reply/respond to 5/6 tweets a day and wake next day to notifications but have no idea to what the response is referring.

Does anyone know a way round this please?
