Two different wifi networks - one DSL connection?

As always, I've looked all over for information on this, but cannot find a thing. MOST people want to extend their current network with another router or access point. I, however, want to setup two wireless networks (different SSID's and restrictions) on the same DSL line. I have a 2wire router as my primary router right now, and I want to add a Linksys wireless G standard router. How in the world do I set that up? If at all possible...

what kind of restrictions do you need?

I think it may be a little easier that what Digital Locksmith said, although not wrong by any means.

Connect your primary router to the DSL connection. Then connect your second WAP to the first. Make sure you set a different default gateway address (192.168.2.1 would work).

Then make sure the access points are on seperate broadcast channels (1, 6, 11 don't interfere with each other) and you have different SSID's and all should be good.

The primary WAP will route all network traffic accordingly though the PPPoE. PM if you have any other questions. Thx.

Thanks for the replies! I am still working on this... My biggest problem is a lack of options on the 2wire (provided by AT&T). But I'm managing I think. I think what's actually causing my continuing problems is that Im doing something wrong on the linksys router. Everytime I disable dhcp on the linksys, I can not get any further. It seems that the linksys router fails when I disable dhcp. I'm stumped. To make it clear, the 2wire has a default gateway of 192.168.1.254, subnet is 255.255.255.0, dhcp range is 192.168.1.0-.254 ... The linksys was given 192.168.2.1 as a default gateway and dhcp was disabled... Shouldn't that work?

    Solution:

What I ended up doing was something completely different than what was advised, and it works great! :cool I didn't change any settings on the primary 2wire router. I ran an Ethernet cable from the 2wire router to the WAN port of the Linksys router. Note: The 2wire is assigning IP's within the range of 192.168.1.1-.254. So, the Linksys router actually required very little configuration, all I did was change the default gateway of the Linksys router from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.1. This created a series of IP's that the Linksys router would assign that did not interfere with the IP's that the 2wire assigns. I then added the restrictions that I wanted on the Linksys router and gave my neighbor the SSID and WPA password for the Linksys router that restricts certain websites and usage during certain hours. :-D Now I just need to figure out how to use this "dd-wrt" software and increase the restrictions! Thanks for all the input guys!
