Two genre in one. plz...

I would love to see a game (or, more likely, a mod) that plays like an RTS but where you can switch over to an FPS mode to personally control any of your units. I have seen this in Unreal Annihilation, a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004. It is still in beta, and I would like to know if anyone knows of a game or a mod for a game that has this type of gameplay.

 

There is a game like this, two of my friends have it, but I can't remember the name right now. It's an online multiplayer game, and in every game there is a commander (who tells the units where to go) and then the other players (I think between 30 - 60 per team depending on game size) are the units he is ordering around. The players who are the units are in a 3rd person mode for some combat (hand to hand fighting), and 1st person for long range combat. I'll check a game site to see if I can remember the name. This game was released maybe like 4 or 5 months ago.

I haven't been able to get in contact with my friends who own the game yet, but I'll try to ask them either today or tomorrow for you. It's really bothering me that I can't remember this game's name .. I usually have a good memory

i believe the game your talking about is Savage or something like that...saw a review for it on xplay...looks interesting. Id check it out but sadly im still on dial up

 

Yes, Savage is the title of the game I was describing. Thanks so much for reminding me, I haven't been able to get in contact with my friends who had the game.
