I can display different MS Word 2003 files on my two screens but not MS Excel 2003 files. They stubbornly remain on one screen. What am I doing wrong?
    My OS is XP.

Do you maybe have one maximised and the other restored down (not maximised)?

    Thanks,
Both are maximised. The dual screen facility works fined for MS Word, and Adobe, but not MS Excel.

Are you trying to put a worksheet on each screen, or stretch a sheet across two screens?
    Same with Word?

    Try this:
In Excel 2003, go to Tools -> Options -> General tab.
Make sure the option, ‘Ignore other applications’ is checked.

You could also try opening 2 instances of Excel. Minimise one and move it to the other monitor.

    Hi

What you need to do is not open the Excel workbooks by double clicking them, open them via the File > Open option in Excel and then that will open the workbooks in seperate Windows, if you double click the files they open in same Window.

Weird as hell function in Excel but I have to do this in work when wanting to work on two workbook on my dual screens.
