Two monitors from one DVI port?

    One DVI port is only one Head, One head is one display.

    Sorry you wont get two separate display, unless you buy two of those video cards

    Well, that's exactly what I was thinking. Thanks for the confirmation. I had emailed the seller to ask about that and he replied, saying "it is not a dvi out connector. it is for dual cable adapter. these adapters are about $5 on ebay. adapters are two types - dual vga or dual dvi"

    His reply did not make sense to me. Clearly, the card appears to have a single DVI port. His listing title even states DVI. I can understand that a splitter could be connnected to it to accomodate two monitors, but both monitors would receive the same video signal and would display the same thing.

    I sent a second message to the seller, saying I believe the two monitors would only work in a cloning mode. He replied, saying "no, it display two different displays".

    The only conclusion seems to be that he does not know what he's talking about.

    I avoid Ebay!

    A quick look at Newegg, they have about 40 dual head Video cards for $50 or less
