Two Quick Questions

1. What order should I install everything in on a reformat? OS-service pack-mobo drivers-vcarddrivers-sound drivers?

2. How much thermal paste do I put on a P4 heatspreader and do I have to spread it on? I think on my P3 I just put a glob on and then the heatsink sorta spread it by itself.. Thanks.

 

1/ service pack - mobo drivers - directx - graphics driver - everything else
http://unattended.msfn.org ... if ya wanna give yourself a nice headache .. but i did it .. not sure if it works cause i havent tried the CD i made yet ... also "nLite" is a convenient way to do it ... i think i saw it in the dl area

2/ i usually cover the chip with a thin coat ... but everyone seem to say the less amount the better ... im sure someone else will have an opinion on this

 

Thanks, yea my temps seem a little high (tho i haven't installed case fans yet (need more screws, lol), might be why) so i may have put too much on.
