It seems that you didn't format (wipe) the hard drive. You just installed another version of vista on top.

Do a google search on re-installing vista. Pay close attention to the formatting part.
There is no point in me typing it out here as there are 1000's of tutorials on this subject an the net.

Google is your friend, now you know what to search for. :)

Yep, there's tons of guides and how-to's for installing a clean Vista. However, it's real easy: boot to the Vista disc; follow all the on screen prompts until you get to the Window where it shows the hard drive(s) and partition(s). There will be several choices under this window; select "Drive Options (advanced)" on the right; then highlight the drive/partition you want to format and select "Format". It's that easy. If there's several partitions and you want to wipe 'em all, select each partition one at a time and click "Delete". When it shows only a single partition remaining, select "Format".
Here's a screen shot of the screen where you'd click "Drive Options (advanced)". It's under the window on the right:

Here's a screen shot of what comes up after clicking "Drive Options (advanced)". Notice the new options under the window: Delete, Format, Extend, etc...

    EASY!

Just remember that deleting and/or formatting a drive or partition COMPLETELY ERASES EVERYTHING. This really means everything.
