Hi! I have two computers that need a USB hub. One has only one working USB port but at least two devices to connect to it at a time, and the other had only three devices in use and three ports for them, but then, the mouse broke, and I needed to get a new one, and it uses a USB port. :( Now, I have two USB hubs, but they didn't work. Is there anything special I have to do to get them to work? Or could it be a hardware issue?

BTW, the devices got no power when connected to the USB hubs.

You have to purchase powered USB hubs. All my USB hubs have an external power plug to be sure they are supplied with enough power.

It also helps if you post the OS on those two computers.

The computer with one working USB port is WinXP, and the other is Win11/64. Thank you for the insight.

I don't run XP nor 11 but I do think a powered hub will work.
